Our Process

MSP develops projects in three phases:

• Phase 1: pro bono initial site identification and feasibility analysis (request phase 1 services here)

• Phase 2: site engineering and coordination of interconnection application. MSP may provide a limited amount of its phase 2 services pro bono. (request phase 2 services here)

• Phase 3: RFP design, permitting, project financing, and construction (request phase 3 services here)

Local public entities (including but not limited to municipalities, counties, school districts, public utilities, and tribal nations) that are committed to developing and owning solar projects for public benefit are eligible to receive MSP’s services.
